De laatste dagen ben ik druk in de weer geweest met tuinieren (onkruid uit gras steken en oude hortensia-bloemen wegknippen), naar vuilstortplaats rijden, 2x (voor zooi uit garage en voor tuinafval), naar opticien om ogen op te meten voor nieuwe multifocale bril, 2x naar fitness om me af te laten beulen, met brandwonden op mijn ellebogen als resultaat, maar mijn buikje begint ook lekker strak te worden ☺, naar de DDC waar ik 8 ons van mijn to-go lijstje kon schrappen, maar met de +4 ons van vorige week sta ik dus nu op -4 over de laatste 2 weken, en oja, ik ben ook aan een quilt bezig.  Voor een mokkeltje die bijna jarig is en van felle kleuren houdt. Nou, deze is fel! 1 Tegel is 40x 40 cm.

Last few day’s I’ve been a busy girl, cleaning up garage and garden, going to the fitness to get ridd of the lovehandles; the ones around my waist are bothering me, do I push them under my pants, of leave them above?) to find out I’d lost 0,8 kg’s. But the last time I’d gained 0,4, so I lost 0,4 in 2 weeks, well, it’s the loosing that counts. And I went to the optician to get a new pair of glasses and the FLC (fat ladies club, weight watchers)

Oh and I did do some quilting (patching) too, I’ve almost finished this quilt for a young lady who’s birthday is due very soon, and she loves bright colors. It hardly gets more brighter then this (tile measures 40x 40 cm)

je hebt net nog geen zonnebril nodig☺

I’ll add a red apple border to it tomorrow, I’m looking forward to quiliting it (with my Bernina 440 QE). Morgen ga ik er nog een rode appeltjesrand omheen zetten, en dan is-ie klaar om te sandwichen en door te quilten, ik heb er zin in! En als ik dan zo schuin achter me kijk, in mijn naaikamer achter de pc zittend, dan kan ik zo genieten van het uitzicht, die rechts boven is zo fleurig! Met die mandjes ben ik nog niet helemaal happy mee, en die paperpiece kip en kat komen van mijn moeder, die had ze over en ik mocht ze hebben. Looking over my shoulder to the right I’m enjoying the view of my designwall, it makes me smile. Naaah, I’m not quite happy with the way the baskets look (boring) but the jars and the blocks to the far right are so cheerfull, I can see two lovely quilts in the near future (after finishing the 2 springtime quilts here and here first, of course.
